About the event

We hear this a LOT in the rehab space - the foot and ankle are super important, its our interface with the ground, and everything upstream is going to be affected by what’s going on with this area. Sounds legit, but do we really understand HOW and WHY the foot and ankle influences biomechanics of the knee, hip, and pelvic girdle? It’s hard to find a coherent explanation of in what precise ways will particular types of foot/ankle architecture and functionality affect the rest of the kinematic chain. Luckily for us, we’ve got movement master Sally Belanger to help make sense of it all!

In this workshop, you'll learn:

  • how stance and gait affect the rest of the body

  • how the anatomy and biomechanics of the foot and ankle influence the lower kinematic chain

  • how to incorporate this information into effective programming for sport and life

  • creative and incredibly effective…
