Part 2: Integrated Wrist Assessment and Treatment with Dr Taran Ohson

Back by popular demand, we are doing a follow up Part 2 of our sold-out Integrated Wrist Assessment and Treatment workshop from earlier this year! If you were at the first one, you know how much fun we had diving into the neurology of the upper limb, as well as learning specific techniques for assessing and treating articular and soft tissue dysfunction of the ulnar and dorsal wrist.  For this workshop, we'll be turning our attention to the radial side of the wrist.

In our 10+ years of teaching physiotherapists and other allied health professionals, there's one area that we consistently hear students don't feel confident treating - the dreaded wrist! 😱

Its definitely a tricky area - there are a LOT of articulations, tendons crossing everywhere, and the nerves are so sensitive 😖

But everything that makes the wrist tricky to treat is also what makes it EASY to treat - if you know where to look, and have the right tools in your toolkit!

In this workshop, we will cover:

• review of which structures are important to evaluate, but often ignored  
• how to select assessment techniques
• how to palpate and handle the wrist with precision 
• soft tissue and needling treatment techniques
